Basic information
The Jihlava Medical Academy (JIMEA) is a part of the Hospital Jihlava (HJ), which establishes it. It extends the activities of the HJ by educational and formative activities. These concern both medical and non-medical health professions.
JIMEA's mission is to develop and support these activities leading to the improvement of the quality of knowledge of health professionals and health care.
JIMEA's activities:
- JIMEA is responsible for the management and organisation of medical education and training activities.
- This applies to HJ employees as well as to all health care workers in the Vysočina Region and the entire Czech Republic.
- The forms of education are conferences, seminars and publications of educational materials in printed and electronic form.
- Events are initiated by Hospital Jihlava staff, staff of cooperating entities, or other experts.
- The inclusion of an event in the JIMEA list is approved by the JIMEA Scientific Council.
- The active participants of the educational events (lecturers) are experts from the Hospital Jihlava, the Vysočina Region and institutions of the Czech Republic.
- The programme of the event will be submitted by the JIMEA Scientific Council and will be arranged by the guarantor in cooperation with the event coordinator.
- Events will be scored by the respective chambers and participants will receive a certificate of participation. To be arranged by the event coordinator.
