The scope of the work within the CPR team is to provide the intensive care for inpatients with the vital function failure (predominantly the respiratory failure) also to provide the urgent CPR and the medical consultation for patients with the sudden and severe health deterioration. On top of that, the general and/or local anaesthesia or anglo-sedation are administered to patients undergoing surgical or diagnostic procedures. Las but not least, the outpatients suffering from chronic, intractable pain are taken care of.

We perform and interpret POCT testing (ABR analyser, ClotPro, HemoCue, et al.), as well as the basic video bronchoscopy and cleaning of the air-passages during the acute respiratory obstruction, we also provide supervision over severally ill patients or at-risk patients during the in-hospital transports and diagnostic procedures.

For certain diagnosis (acute coronary syndrome or a stroke in particular), in cooperation with the Cardiology Department and Neurology Department, the intensive care is provided not only to patients from Jihlava region but also from the entire Vysočina Region.
