Surgical Department

The surgical department of the Hospital Jihlava provides the comprehensive professional care for surgical patients, with the exception of injuries that are treated at the Traumatology Department of the Hospital Jihlava. It provides a complete range of operative general surgery, pediatric surgery, coloproctosurgery, vascular and oncosurgery.

There are 80 beds at the Surgical Department, of which 12 are modernly equipped beds of the interdisciplinary intensive care unit (ICU).

We closely copperate with the children's department in the care for the pediatric surgical patients.
